Although Druidic Tsainism is still the respected faith of Antillica, Orthodox Tsainism has recently emerged. Orthodox Tsainism still believes in the same pantheon, and in the same stories of creation, but it also differs in many ways to Druidic Tsainism, for example they believe that the gods, while capable of growing from blood, do not like to feed on the pain of their worshipers, they would rather grow from the prayers of the worshippers, and their happiness and love.

Moscara believes that we should allow all kinds of religion in our territory apart from ones that involve the sacrifice of thenselves or others.

It has taken me a minute to get around to this, but the Crown of Uantir is disappointed with the recent trends in regards to Antillica and religion. When we were discussing a treaty between us the main contention was the superstition and sub standard of living in regions of Antillica that were highly religious. The issue was partly about the technology, which improvements have been made to, but more importantly there was the issue of a potential Theocracy. We were assured that the Druids stood as spiritual advisors, but not official government advisors. We were assured that Tsainism was the recognized religion of the people, but not a nation ruled by that religion. With the move to Orthodox Tsainism it seems that the infiltration of religion into the governance that we feared has come to pass. One of your Dukes not only endorses it, but does so it what appears to be an official governmental capacity. Moscara believes that Ortodox Tsainism is the true faith and is our religion. And now Lord Rauve tells us that the shift from the ‘old ways’ was done not by the people but by the government. Tax money is taken from everyone, and should benefit everyone equally. Disenfranchizing no-druids and older sects of druids by using government funds and labor to build holy sites to the government’s favored religion and broadcasting sermon’s with the backing of government authority crosses the line from a state recognized religion to a religion of the state. Well, a lot acctualy. Orthodox chapels were funded by the government, Orthodox preachers were established in urban areas, and a government run Orthodox sermon station was broadcasting over the newly enstated radio systems. These recent trends belie the implied agreement that religion would stay out of the Antillican government. We signed under the pretenses that Antillica would not move in the direction of Theocracy. The recent non-secular actions taken by the Empire of Antillica betray our trust and threaten our confidence in the treaty signed between us. As an ally of the closest sort, signed by treaty, a public statement about Uantir’s acceptance of such practices is made and that’s a perception we cannot accept. If conduct not in accords with Uantir’s practices cannot be maintained Antillica is in danger of having the treaty between our two nations considered invalid by the Crown.

Well, thank you for your input. However, there is always reason to madness, in small ways. With Orthodox Tsainism as the accepted majority religion, modern life is easier to achieve, with larger acceptance of technology.

Wow. I leave for a week, and Tsainism falls to this. Right, lets get this sorted. Firstly, I resign from Lordship. Secondly, Emperor, perhaps we should stop funding certain religions, and let faith flow naturally. Thirdly, James, perhaps you can edit your claim to only allow Orthodox religion in Moscara. Hopefully we can sort this all out.

Well, thank you for your input. However, there is always reason to madness, in small ways. With Orthodox Tsainism as the accepted majority religion, modern life is easier to achieve, with larger acceptance of technology. You don't seem to understand, I support Antillica having an accepted religion, officially or unofficially, especially if it's the majority. You're missing the subtle but powerful difference between accepting a religion and endorsing it. Most Christians accept technology. Buddhists accept technology. Moderate Islam accepts technology. Wicca accepts technology. Hinduism accepts technology. A religion of the government and funded by the government may help influence technology. You know what else fuels technological growth? Market stimulation. Government research and development with successful integration marketing schemes. Opening up universities that teach science and technology. That last bit, instead of forcing people to accept a religion, changes the social demographic of an entire generation. What you're not acknowledging is the fact that if you're advocating a religion, and funding a religion, then it's not unreasonable to assume that you're governing based off that religion. A government who makes its decisions from the perspective of a religion and not a biased, secular, standpoint is a Theocracy. Uantir cannot remain an ally with a Theocracy. Secondly, Emperor, perhaps we should stop funding certain religions, and let faith flow naturally. Listen to your people.

There's really nothing to say but that I have made a mistake. We will stop funding religion.

I think I should address this first, Thirdly, James, perhaps you can edit your claim to only allow Orthodox religion in Moscara. Hopefully we can sort this all out. I only used that to prevent any worshippers of Druidic Tsainism because I thought they sacrificed themselves as well as animals but I will adjust this now that I know the truth. Oh, Saint Frederick, by becoming an Orthodox saint you basically shunned all Druidic Tsainism from the start. You could have argued about earlier but it is quite pointless saying it now.

Well, I can understand your fears, but now you know otherwise. As for shunning, I simply chose to be Orthodox, noone was shunned. I could have argued about what earlier? If you reffer to the whole Moscaran beleif thing, indeed, I could have.

I apologise for my use of words, I was tired and misread the message. I did not mean to use shunned or any other words that were in any way false.
