I am appaled with this evil dictatorship! You insult your duke, enforce a state religion, and this meat shortage is not helping!
Ruling a nation is not a birthright, it is an earned privelige! I see a nation with choice, I see a nation where religion is a choice, I see a nation free of this dictatorship!

Well, let me ask you what you would suggest we change?

Hah! This proposal to change is to late to fix the issues you have caused! What I propose we change is YOU!

The meat shortage has been solved by a trade agreement, and Tsainism is not enforced as you portray it is, I hope this can be solved.

And how do you propose to change the High Lord? Who would be his replacement?

There would be no high lords, we will move into modern methods, and elect a presedent!

Ok, I believe we shall have a poll to decide if moving into "modern methods" is required.

That would put Antillica in a very akward place, we have had a monarchy for centuries. I am attempting to make a transition to contemprary methods slowly to not make our people adjust to too many changes at once.

I hope I am not intruding, but a discussion that would drastically change the face of a nation we share a treaty with draws my interest and though I realize I have no say in the final verdict, I'd like to impart some outside input. If the corruption and crony capitalism of the United States government is any indication there is nothing more fair or egalitarian about democracy. In many ways democracy allows the majority to force the minority into things and true freedom has to be arbitrated. A feudal system of government is not necessarily a problem and democracy is not a modern system; it's been around for centuries in many incarnations. The idea of religious oppression is one that the government of Antillica and the Crown of Uantir had a very long discussion about and it may help settle some of your grievances by reviewing that discussion here.Though the principles of the issue have been abated by that argument, the goal of ensuring that all people have the freedom not only to practice but not be ostracized by the practice of a religion are still under foot. As soon as I finish composing my campaign there will be an education effort launched from our embassy, in full cooperation with Antillican authorities of course, dealing with that subject. We would of course be more than willing to accept those who want to further the cause.

Let me thank Ailin for clearing the issue, and may I stress the fact that we are open to any discussions of problems in the Antillican government system.

As head of The Orthodox Tsainite faith, may I put in the fact that religion is a choice, and that I will be happy to help Ailin with any matters concerning faith or religion in our nation.

Alright, alright, this could have probably been approached more calmly, and thank you all for clearing this up.

Hey Edward, don't beat yourself up. Micronationalism is thrilling because you get to be heard in ways that are not always available in the outside world. It's understandable to get excited. Lose the scorching flame but not the fire or spark. Once you control that you can do wonders seeing as there's still work to be done here.
